Martial Arts

Our martial arts clubs teach children the basic martial arts techniques such as striking, blocking, and kicking, all in a safe and controlled but also fun and stimulating environment. Our clubs are lively and fun with techniques taught through martial arts based games and activities. We firmly believe that martial arts not only improves the children’s physical health, it can also improve their mental health.

Key principles:

Skills for life – martial arts are built on the foundations of respect and discipline. We teach children to respect their instructor, peers, and themselves and emphasise the importance of discipline and dedication in everyday life.

Technical skills – each session will focus on developing specific martial arts skills – as a bonus the children will also improve their fitness, strength, flexibility, coordination, focus, and self-control.

Learn through play – our instructors keep the sessions fun and engaging – skills are taught through fun games and activities that are enjoyable and accessible to children of all skill levels and ages.

Age-appropriate & inclusive – We ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe environment with trained and experienced instructors, appropriate equipment, and age-appropriate activities and drills. Sessions are adapted to be more suitable for young children, making martial arts easier to learn. Children are split into groups depending on their age and ability, so that they can progress at their own pace, without pressure.
