Comedy Club

Our comedy club uses humour as a way of sparking creativity, encouraging self-expression, and building confidence in a safe and fun environment. Children focus on creating comedy characters and short sketches through improvisation and storytelling games. Each session throughout the term focusses on a different aspect of comedy, keeping the content fresh and engaging for the children.

Key principles:

Age-appropriate & inclusive – all content is strictly PG and we ensure that children of all ages and backgrounds feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

Learn through play – comedy is all about fun and our clubs are too – children learn improvisation and storytelling through a diverse mix of fun games and activities.

Skills for life – being able to tell a great story is a super useful and flexible life skill – our comedy clubs will get the creative juices as the children are encouraged to think outside of the box to come up with hilarious characters, sketches, and jokes.

Technical Skills: Children will be taught a range of technical skills such as script writing, story-telling, editing and stage presence

  • Our comedy clubs are led by a professional comedian who has at least 5 years’ experience teaching comedy to primary school age children

  • The children will learn something new in each session

  • Our comedy clubs are safe, inclusive, and fun
